Q1: How can I be sure I’m buying a genuine DAUMIER watch?
A1: Please purchase DAUMIER watches from DAUMIER authorized retailers or DAUMIER official website Daumierwatches.com Store. All DAUMIER watches come with an international warranty card which contains the purchased date, serial number and retailer’s stamp. DAUMIER watches buy from non-DAUMIER authorized retailers or other online channels cannot be guaranteed as genuine DAUMIER watches, thus you may not be able to receive the after-sales services provided by DAUMIER customer service and repair centers. Please refer to the page “Where to Buy” in DAUMIER website for the list of DAUMIER authorized retailers.

Q2: Why there is no picture on DAUMIER official website of the watch I’ve purchased?
A2: DAUMIER website only shows the latest and a range of selected watch models. If you would like to see more watches, please visit the authorized retailers recommended on our official website.

Q3: How long is a DAUMIER watch guaranteed for?
A3: Your DAUMIER watch is guaranteed for 24 months from the date of purchase in a DAUMIER authorized retailer. For more information, please refer to the Guarantee Booklet enclosed with the watch or the “Customer Service Policy & Warranty” section in DAUMIER website.

Q4: What is sapphire crystal on DAUMIER watch?
A4: Sapphire crystal is so hard that only diamond is harder than it. The anti-reflective treatment on the bottom sides of sapphire crystal improves the visibility of DAUMIER watch dial. “SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL” words have been engraved on surface and bottom of the watch to identify DAUMIER watch models which adopt sapphire crystal. Q5: Where can I purchase extra DAUMIER straps or parts?
A5: Daumier has physical retail stores, agency offices or after-sales service centers in 6 regions or countries around the world. Please kindly contact us or visit our customer service centers if assist on affairs such as straps purchase or parts, etc. is needed.

Q6: Should I send my DAUMIER watch to an unauthorized service center?
A6: If your DAUMIER watch needs to be adjusted, battery replaced, repaired or serviced, we recommend you bring it to your nearest DAUMIER authorized customer service and repair center. They are the only organizations own the necessary tools and equipment to provide professional maintenance and repair services that meet the strict quality standards. The address of customer service centers can be found in Guarantee Booklet or on “Customer Service” page of our website.

Watches which were repaired or serviced by someone else than an authorized DAUMIER customer service center are excluded from any DAUMIER guarantee coverage.

Q7: Up to what depth are DAUMIER watches water resistant? Can I wear my DAUMIER watch to swim or dive?
A7: Most of the DAUMIER watches are water resistant to 50 meters depending on the model. As the current waterproof pressure test is a static measurement, only applicable for daily life water resistant, pressure bearing by the watch during water activities is different. Therefore, it is not recommended to wear during diving activities or in extreme temperatures environment. Q8: How to ensure my DAUMIER watch running smoothly and timing accurately?
A8: Automatic movement is driven by an oscillating weight called the rotor. The movements of your arm cause the rotor to swing and wind the mainspring. An automatic movement usually has 36 hours of power reserve. If the watch is not being worn or under a low activity situation, power reserve in the automatic movement will decrease, manual winding is needed to supplement power. Detailed information please refers to the Operating Instructions or the “User Guide” page in DAUMIER website.

In case the automatic watch has stopped running, please re-wind the watch manually. Generally, turning the crown clockwise approximate 15 to 20 times. In addition, we recommend you to manually wind for your DAUMIER automatic watch before every new wear to ensure the movement has sufficient energy to run smoothly. If you do not often wear your watch or which is used for collection purpose, regular winding is still needed to maintain the automatic movement good functioned.

Q9: If unusual circumstances occurred in my DAUMIER watch, such as running a bit fast or slow, what should I do?
A9: Each DAUMIER watch has been rigorously tested after manufactured. The precision of an automatic movement may affected by several factors such as temperature, humidity, gravity, magnetic fields or shocks of wearer’s activities.
